On September 27, 2007, the Murray State University Chapter of SESHA hosted a lecture tour to increase awareness of the safety concerns associated with the semiconductor industry. Presenters at the lecture tour were Rebecca Anderson of UC-Berkeley Environmental Safety and Health Department and Caitlin Anderson of 3M. Topics discussed were the recently adopted NFPA 70E standard and the safety and health hot topics of the semiconductor industry. Approximately 15 students attended the event.
